For this opportunity:

You’ll be in charge of ZGM’s internal workflow process. Think of yourself as a gatekeeper. Or conductor. Or maybe a bouncer. In any case, you’ll ensure client work flows efficiently in and out of the agency, through the right people.

 

Here are some of the things you’ll do:

  • Work with both office teams, located in Calgary and Edmonton
  • Be the go-between person for requests from Account Services/Media for the Creative department 
  • Determine who works on what – ability to choose the best creative team for the task based on capacity, skillsets, and fair distribution of creative opportunities
  • Manage workloads, making sure team members don’t have too much or too little on their plate 
  • Bring on appropriate freelancers and contractors when needed 
  • Review current project timelines and job statuses – keep in contact with all departments regarding deadline statuses and address any concerns
  • Report to Leadership Team about current workflow and communicate any possible issues with too much or too little work
  • Work with Account Services team to help put together realistic workback schedules
  • Conduct status meetings with Account Services every week
  • Advocate for our Asana work management process and make sure protocols are being consistently followed
  • Create status reports and work with Value Council Team on estimating and billing
  • Keep everyone in all departments feeling heard and happy, balancing clients demands and staffing realities

  • People person who communicates with ease – you’ll be working and building relationships with about 65 people working in Creative/Media/Account Services
  • Cool under pressure – ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience in project management
  • Previous advertising agency experience a bonus – have an understanding of how a campaign gets produced, from concepting through to production
  • A passion in the creative and technical aspects of running creative projects
